I happened to be reading an article in the newspaper the other day when I was suddenly struck by a curious coincidence involving the name of a Republican senator from Texas and a certain feline physician from Rocko's Modern Life. If this IS a coincidence.
For some reason I'm having trouble finding reference images for Hutch (the one on the right) - Wikipedia doesn't show any character images for the show, and all I seem to have is fanart.

Curiously enough, there may be a psychic continuity between Hutch and Sandy Cheeks of Spongebob Squarepants, as can be seen by those big staring EYES. Of course they have their differences as well - Hutch is part of the local community while Sandy is the complete outsider in every way possible.

Possible, but Rocko's Modern Life has the advantage of not being Spongebob Squarepants. It's a pretty big advantage. ^_~
Kidding aside, though, every time I've caught an episode of Spongebob, it's made my brain hurt in a bad way. *shrugs* Like someone's trying to imitate the success of Ren and Stimpy combined with Rocko's Modern Life and just... trying too hard.
