He got on his arms and knees, looking the boy in the eyes.
“Sooner or later, you'll run out of air. But I have an idea. My body can function in space like normal. So if you get inside me, I can keep you safe till we fix the problem,” to prove this point, he opened his mouth, revealing a large purple maw, drool all over the place. The boy shook his head frantically. There was no way the kid was gonna willingly walk into the mouth of a alien whale! The earthling could feel the humidity of the giant’s mouth hitting him with every breath. The ship shook violently. The alien growled on frustration. With a great amount of hesitation, the boy gently placed my hands inside his mouth, and closed his eyes. The kid couldn't handle the feeling his hands got when they touched his slimy tongue. The giant was about at the boy's height standing while he was crouching. But regardless, he slid his head and shoulders next. It was like he was through a wet and skinny slide that was horizontal. He made the mistake of opening his eyes. He looked upon a tunnel that was without light. Heart raced, the sound drumming in his ears.
“Can you help me? I'm getting too scared,” a voice echoed inside the giant’s mouth. He didn't answer, but he closed his mouth, making sure not to bite down on the human legs. Practically like a strand of spaghetti, he slurped up the last of the boy's body that was outside his mouth. He rose to his feet, a quivering creature in his closed mouth. He tilted his head up and swallowed, a line of bulges going down the alien's gullet. The boy barely made a dent in his stomach, but the alien sighed in satisfaction. The alien was surprised by the lack of resistance that the creature wasn’t giving. He had more or less trusted the giant patrol officer at his word. He rubbed gently at his stomach, which made a small bulge on one of his lower six pack. He reached behind him, and pulled out a tube the size the boy was.
“If you can, get away from the acid and where you came in from,” said the alien to himself as he ripped an opening on the top of the tube. He put the opening to his mouth, and sucked up the contents. Again, the boy took the words of the alien serious. The feeling of his stomach wall being pushed on was proof.
“Blech! What is that?” a muffled voice asked from inside the stomach.
“My kind have rather vicious stomach acids. If we do not feed it often, the acids get vicious and intense. Instantly digesting anything it can grab. What I ate was a food medication. Controls the intensity to feel like you’re in a warm room,” the alien said, throwing the crinkle plastic to the floor. The creature walked to a closed door, which led to the cockpit of the ship. The creature used one of his big fingers and pressed a button. The blaring alarm that was in the background shut off.
“What's going on? Is it safe to come out?” asked the muffled belly voice.
“No. Still unsafe. I just muted the alarm. That noise can get so annoying,” he clicked a few more buttons, and the image of the ship manifested as a hologram. “The hole itself will take several hours to repair. And then we’ll need to wait till the air is breathable for you, which is several more hours. So I'm going to rest. You should as well. You've had quite the ordeal,” another belly rub from the officer.
“Thank you, mister alien. I appreciate all that you're doing for me,” said the muffled inner voice.
“My name, is Gantu. Captain of the galactic federation. And this is just me, doing my duty as a captain,” he pressed more buttons, and the image vanished. Gantu sat down in his large pilot ship, and closed his eyes.
As promised, the earthling was released from the prison known as the stomach once the ship was breathable. Though it took willpower and a string. Gantu got on a knee and looked down at the drool covered boy.
“After today, I'm sure you can't wait to go back to Earth. I will do my duty and take you home,” said the huge captain, rising to his feet.
“Actually sir!” the boy yelled. The giant froze, looking down at him from over his shoulder. “There's nothing really left for me on Earth. And if, that is, you don't mind. I’d like to stay with you,” the boy was blushing as he said this. Not admitting that he liked how kind he was treated, even when he was eaten. The boy couldn't see, but the captain smiled.
“Very well. But my superiors can't know about you. So you will have to hide if they wish to speak to me. If any enter the ship,” Gantu opened his mouth and pointed in. “If I am to leave the ship, you will either stay in the vessel, or stay inside of me. Understood?”
“Yes sir!” the boy smiled and saluted the captain. That managed to make him laugh. The giant continued his walk into the cockpit, followed by his new passenger. In more ways than one, was this true. And the two went on many adventures throughout the galaxy.
