Pretty simple, really.
Step 1) Draw a simple circle.
Step 2) Decide where you want your head to be pointing, then draw crosslines to indicate the orientation of the facial features, as well as ears.
Step 3) Draw in details.
That simple.
I've included some tips down below to help with other head directions and general stuff.
