I mean... relative to the age of the universe with my pace, but I haven't abandoned anything and I have actually moved a lot along these past weeks and months.

One of the many petty reasons I stopped was because there were simply too many things that no longer worked, because they were meant as temporary solutions at the time.
Good thing about the massive time between those projects was me getting a ton of experience in the field in general, so I could make things right. And pretty much all of the former oddly sticking parts now seamlessly click together. I'm pretty proud of the script/roadmap I have for the book now, and it's something that I'm having fun filling out.

I'm glad to hear it. Proper world building and story crafting does require time and careful thought. It'll be great to see this stuff once you share it. I do hope my Bear and Boar couple cameo will still work!

Oh they very much do. I didn't really do any rewrites, just additions and rearranges. Things haven't changed in terms of when they happen, but the order in which they're shown has shuffled a bit.

And issue 3 is pretty much untouched, including your bear and boar :>
