Aww, thank you very much - Short story: Close! Hehe, not quite, though... but kinda close! :) Kinda XD
Long story: Nov 12 is my male OC Luke's birthday and I always forget, but I didn't this year, so I decided to do some (semi)related art. Opposite Luke is my female OC Jayli (woman in the picture is supposed to be her) and they do end up hooking up eventually. There are recurring themes of light (Luke) and darkness (Jayli) and finding balance, which they eventually find in each other... but prior to that, Jayli would look to the stars, which in her mythology represent hope in the face of despair.
Normally, the constellation she is looking at is simply five stars in a cross shape, used as the North Star across cultures, but according to legend, the first stars were once an ancient hero murdered by his brother - he was so righteous and beloved that his god made him an immortal guardian of the earth in the form of the first constellation, to give his people hope in the face of tragedy. When viewed from the hidden lands of the ancient hero (where Jayli lives), the constellation's true brilliance becomes visible.
Later, when Jayli and Luke finally get together, Jayli takes him to her homelands and shows him the stars, and gives him the nickname Arukar, Lodestar.
