Looks like Damijan's padded playtime continues... but it seems somebody isn't too pleased to be a pampered panda.

*Damijan huffs as he's hugged, still blushing and pouting, and suckling on his pacifier to calm himself rather than complaining...*
Ever since the first time I drew him like this, I knew he'd start to enjoy it eventually... he's just gotta go through the "embarrassed" stage and the "pouty" stage first! Thankfully, it seems he has a few potential playmates that'll ignore his huffing and pouting and insistence that "I'm an adult!" and help him bring out his inner cub.
Besides, toddlers get frequent snacks and nap times--and snacking and napping are every red panda's two favorite activities!

Damijan continues his embarrassed blushing, huffing and pouting, even as he's hugged and cuddled... but it looks like he's stuck, at least for the time being...
Since the first time I drew him dressed like this, I knew he'd grow to enjoy it--but first he'd have to spend some time being embarrassed, and then being pouty and angry, and then just sort of giving up and going along with things in a half-hearted manner before realizing that he's actually enjoying this treatment--which would probably embarrass him even more! I guess a premise similar to the old "Baby Puss" short, finding himself babied by a kid, but actually starting to enjoy it after a while. Whether or not some other critters off the street show up to mess with him while the sitter is away, though, hmm...
Of course, the idea that he could play off some pampered panda playtime as "the kid dressed me this way again" is very convenient should he ever need to lie about going back for another playdate!
