Why was Rodent on this plank with his paws tied behind his back? Was he caught committing some crime, or was he merely playing pirates? It seems the world will never know, as a few moments from now, he will be vanishing down the gullet of the waiting harpy eagle. :)
I love how this came out. The overhead perspective if fantastic, with the view of just the eagle's beak and eyes working perfectly at capturing that sense of peril and doom that the much smaller rat is about to face. And of course, Rodent looks fantastic with his hands tied and stepping off the plank. Plus, Lysozyme's style and coloring always looks so gorgeous.
My thanks to Lysozyme for taking this commission and doing such an awesome job with it. :D

*smiles and nods* I can just imagine Rodent having been caught by the harpy eagle, and convincing the bird that if he was going to be eaten anyway, would it be okay if they played this out with a fun, walking the plank scenario. :D
I suspect the ropes are either digestible, or will simply be coughed up later in a pellet of indigestible fur. :)
