These natural batteries help maintain the energy of the world itself, but Toger's species is also able to draw energy from these crystals if absolutely needed. To draw too much power from them would be disastrous, as it would leave the world itself weaker and more prone to becoming imbalanced. Her species takes pride in protecting these crystals and helping to maintain an ever-shifting balance.
