This is based on a recreation of a dream I had nearly a decade ago.
I was walking down the street and saw a strange poster pinned to the wall. It featured a billboard standing in the middle of the ocean on an oddly-shaped platform made of stone. The billboard had a basic (and kinda ugly) design and contained a couple Hebrew words followed by "or Gehinnom." On both sides of the platform were two books. One the left, a gold book was hovering and emitting a brilliant light and on the right was a green book sinking into the ocean.
The most bizarre fact about this dream is that I do not know Hebrew. I was familiar enough with the alphabet to look up the Hebrew word when I woke up the next day and found that it says "World to Come." I also looked up "Gehinnom" and found that it is comparable to the Christian idea of Hell (though several sources say it's more similar to purgatory). The "World to Come," is comparable to "Heaven," though this is a gross oversimplification and the phrase also refers to the Messianic Era.
The meaning of this dream has puzzled me since I had it 8-9 years ago. IIRC I was exploring different religions at the time and was torn between converting to Judaism or Islam (I eventually chose the latter). Maybe this dream was supposed to be an answer?
The dream has been popping back up in my mind lately as I've been revisiting my spirituality to cope with 2020. I made a recreation of the dream shortly after I had it and posted it online, but I don't remember where (I might have even uploaded it here).
