it's a great way to convey characteristics beyond words! As I draw these wardrobe drawings I'm kind of considering where the character might have aquired that piece, why they bought it ect... if they're an older character, is it something they've had for a long time, and so does it reflect an older fashion trend? Clothes are just another layer of personality. Like with Elliott - his clothes have mostly neutral colours and conservative cuts. He's always almost completely covered. But the way he styles his clothing give them a bit more of a flamboyant, androgynous edge. Mixing male and female fashion trends of the time period. Which is again, a reflection of his persona.
