If you people know the Strider game franchise from Capcom, you know from who I based the character.
This also came up because I always wanted to do a cosplay of him (and hopefully I'll work on that with a friend of mine). I decided to draw my fursona as one Strider because I got inspired by Strider-Orion's sketch of himself as a Strider.
If I had to be a strider I'd use a Grey/Black/Silver pattern... My Cypher (the weapon) would be an extended cypher with more room for manual handling, enabling to use it as a regular sword, and longer range, but it wouldn't have the "extend" feature like Hiryu's cypher. I'd have the standard hook, but with a modified rope attached to enable more maneuvers and tricks besides just the wall grapple. Due to the Cypher's extended body, defending another cypher weapon would be difficult (due it's cutting plasma blade rivals a lightsaber) I put a gauntlet made of a plasma resistent metal plate.
