Continuing the Emma And Ash sketchbook.
Emma is into lenses - partially by necessity - glasses, microscope, etc - as well as curiosity - camera, telescope, etc. The chemicals for her camera are mined right there in the colony.
i had posted an incomplete digitally fudged version of this before :

This version is the completed traditional inking - but in the old version i digitally altered her face/head - as i did again here - cuz in the original her head is too big/wide and jaw too thin - also i painted in lots of white where lines accidentally crossed. will post the original to scraps in a bit.
Was trying for a sort of sloppy version of Gibson's 1890s style inkings.
No idea on the year for this - obviously early on... '93 ???

My opinion on Gibson is a bit mixed, i see his work as un-necessarilly loose, but this likely a bias as my favorite inker from that era was Franklin Booth (the main influence on Wrightson's mind blowing Frankenstien illustrations :
