Wulfwaffle and his Foxtrot verse
A German man remained stoic as he moved his pretzel cart. It was an unorthodox approach, but relocating to an area near the border crossing within west Berlin had the potential to capture high amounts of traffic.
Unbeknown to him, an American Foxtrot entered the scene. She looked like an anthropomorphic wolf. With her weapon in tow, she walked down the street while focusing on a checkpoint in the distance, giving her tunnel vision. Her digitigrade feet gradually approached the pretzel cart with nothing but some unorthodox boots to protect them... right as the German man was crossing the road.
He reeled and stumbled away once she got too close.
Everything happened in an instant.
Snapping, crunching, and popping marked the moment the entire cart was crushed underfoot. The foxtrot's heart skipped a beat as she stopped walking. Carefully, she lifted her foot, just to find a crushed cart on the concrete combined with powdered pretzels and salt falling from her exposed footpaw like individual grains of sand.
"Shit." she said before wiggling her toes. "Sorry!"
As a result, her tail slumped down as she walked away from the frightened human man... and his cart became the only casualty of a diplomatic crisis.
27 to 28 October 1961, started from a dispute over a US diplomat on his way to watch an opera show in East Berlin, 10 American M48 tanks, 10 Soviet T-54A tanks, and a Foxtrot from each side faced each other at a 100-yard distance at Checkpoint Charlie.
Luckily the standoff ended peacefully, except a pretzel cart near the border accidentally got stomped by the US Foxtrot.

This is such an interesting piece and really provokes a lot of thinking. In a world where macros would exist and no doubt join the military, the various roles they would have would certainly be a massive X-factor.
There would be a whole host of pros and cons and as the old saying goes: 'The more things change, the more they stay the same' would be in full swing in such a verse
I love thinking on such things cause there are just so many possibilities!! <3
