It’s interesting that the number hasn’t changed since the place got a phone, that sign is relatively new, it was repainted in the early 2000s, the car depicted on the top is a R33 Skyline.

Now it's by mail that you see it's old, when they use xxx @ diseaperd.provider.com
The mail still work to one was just by by a bigger one. or mail like hotmail.com from pre-microsoft buy time when the forbid the .com and even now when they go to outlook.com

Indeed or the really old phone numbers that started with two or three letters for the exchange name and four numbers!

It was the same but only for Paris, i know a person who own the phone line his great grand father have in the early XX century, one of if not the first of the town as he had a small craft production, the number had only two numbers as the automatic phone exchange was installed and with the grow and change in the national numbering plan, 7 digit was added in a century and still have the same last two. Fun to think the copper line is about to be discarded and the phone will soon ring by the mean of optical fiber, meaning that from the beginning to his end, the line held only one number !

That is pretty damned epic!
