One of the few times I'd been out deep sea fishing, while every one else was going crazy trying to catch yellow fin tuna, I noticed a school of blue perch just under the boat. Apparently they like calamari as much as I do. I hauled up about 20 in rapid succession. Bait hook, drop, and reel in.

One other time while back packing, I found that trout loved those little red salmon eggs. Everyone else on the trip was quite pleased that they got 2 trout fillets for breakfast that day. Except for the guide that had to clean and gut them.
