A shocking addition to the team Zabesh is an electric eel with the a bad streak of frying peoples brains and electronics. He was going to be sentenced to death but instead was spared and put on the Shadow Core team. At first he cared little for them and did his own things but after a few missions and seeing the group in action they gained his respect as he knew skill when he saw it.

Zabesh was tasked usually on missions to short out the power or fry devices. He gained the nick name Black-out when he accidently overloaded the power on a building and shut off power for the city for a week. On their final mission he was promised his freedom and would no longer be on death row for his service. But as they all moved to extraction he saw, he saw the group being betrayed. He went to go attack them but there was an explosion that sent him flying back. They had planted mines on the ground and he only found out as he looked down to see his missing lower half. He know he was going to die, but he was at least happy to have been able to meet a good group of beings.
