More logic fun time with Sally XD This time she's bumped into Rogue from the X-men who's wearing her regular clothing of a leotard and jacket.
The one main reason people give for hating Sally is that she only wears a vest, and the reason why they say this is bad is because she has a female form that shows off her curves. My answer to that is: So what? >.> I didn't know the female form was something to be ashamed of. Plus, if you look at people like Rogue or Chun-li from Street Figther, they wear tight fitting clothes that fully show off their curves because of the leotards they wear. If you are anti Sally because you can see her body form, then you should technically be against people wearing anything that is tight fitting and showing off of the body like leotards, and should claim that everyone should wear baggy clothing to hide it.
In fact, most of the time you have someone wearing a leotard in an anime or manga, they are pretty much drawn as if they were naked, only with a different color or texture for where they wear the leotard. This is pretty much exactly the same case for Sally and pretty much all of the Mobians in the games and comic. They walk around fully covered in their organic leotards made of fur.
The newest comic actually makes an excellent point of this during one of the panels. Espio is letting people know random information he knows about them, and when he reaches Sally he mentions the secret spot of her royal birthmark (which apparently is in an embarrassing place). Of course we don't know where her birthmark is because we can't see her skin. It doesn't matter that she only wears a vest, because she is still fully covered by her fur.
Sooo long story short, this pretty much nullifies the main reason people have for hating Sally and claiming she should wear clothes due to her curves being seen XP To claim that body form matters would also have to claim that people like Rogue would have to dress "more appropriately" too even though they are both fully covered XD
Feel free to comment ^^

Pretty much because double-standards are the main reason they have. To an extent, I think they just don't like the idea of a naked cartoon animal having a highly feminine form unless you're doing it for porn. At least that seems to be the reason for such hate in the furry fandom. After all, we are talking about what's 95% Sausage Party, mostly men in their 20s and 30s, hence a sex-obsession. Perhaps Sally's nudity bugs them because they think the context (it's not porn) is in conflict with their ways of thinking.
