I'm rather enjoying the subtle glows you gave the black character, the teeth and eye, piercings, horn, bangle..they all give him a sort of "supernatural" effect, and helps to distinguish the two different characters. The soft glow of the wounds inflicted by this character also add that quality to him.
The contrasts here are pulled off nicely. Considering its a select palette you used, you used the red rather well by making it brighter and more noticeable, while the gold, bronze, and wine colored accessories are dulled out.
I'll always love how you select one color and overtone everything with it. Its a nice addition to your style and makes you distinct.
