So, in that weird vent piece I did the other day, I experimented with a very Don't Starve-esque style. I ended up liking it a lot, and tried to replicate it with some other characters.

I ended up doing all of the mortal cast in a simple black-and-white, cartoony manner! I wanted to embody how the characters are in the actual story of The Chronicles of the Crisis while also trying to imagine how they'd look in the Don't Starve series.

Here's Solaris! I gave him a modern bow and arrow as an accessory; admittedly, this is my first time trying to draw a bow, and I actually quite like how it turned out.

Solaris would be a pretty average character in terms of stats, though I think it would be cool if he got an "extra life" in the event the character dies -- sort of like using a Tell Tale Heart or a Touchstone. It's kind of Solaris' whole shtick that he can't stay dead, after all.
