sorry but don't take this roudly they are awesome buut ..... well

i just read mukichans journal she the original artist that created the bubble/blob/spots...things and basically now feels unoriginal because no one gives her a smidgen of recognition for the creation.

Haha yeah I just looked at her page, I feel kinda crappy for drawing these now but they honestly had nothing to do with her. It came from talking to people in a stream about the person doing the huge chibi parade and me saying I would so take the easy way out and make them colored spots.Than Nelty wanted one so I made her one and a few for some of my closer friends.

ah i see.... well thats a bummer but oh well still looks great though.

Please don't feel crappy. I honestly don't mind if everyone and their cousin and 2nd cousin does it. I was only making a statement cause I thought it was funny that I saw 12 submissions in my inbox of pretty much the same thing done by different artists.

Maybe its because Im sensitive to this stuff because I just got blamed for stealing such broad ideas as star markings and hair, but this seems a bit ridiculous. The idea or spots or blobs being characters is something that i can guarantee many people thought of. I read mukichans journal and it seems to me that shes just being childish about it. Anyone could easily say that she stole the idea from someone else who had it before her or even Kirby or any other nitendo character. Its such a broad idea, that I have no sympathy for Mukichan nor do I see why you would comment in that way. It is not only pety but unfriendly :<

if some one was to copy your fursonia, could be counsiderd childish if you bitched an individual out, granted the fursonia or furrie characters are something anybody can make is a broad idea, in which could be alterd alittle to alot to suit anothers need, and so with that you cannot really argue you were the original artist of your fursonia?

I am not arguing that I am the original artist who created furries. Anthromorphic characters were created over 40,000 years ago and have evolved into "furries" over the ages. No one can claim they have the original "furry".

Also. I would not bitch someone out for "copying" me unless it was outright tracing or an extremely like copy of personality and design. I understand that people can have similar ideas.

Someone copying a sona is a bit different. A sona design is a more specific thing. I'm sure she would however note said person or talk to them about it privately. Rather than publicly in a journal as to make a big fuss about it.

Before you jump to conclusions, I was only making a statement cause I thought it was really hilarious that I saw 12 submissions done by different artists that are all pretty much the same cutesy derpy balls. Seemed ALOT of people thought I was serious and have been jumping down my throat about it.

These are just heads with the appropriate wings/tails/ears/horns/etc. included. They've been done countless times.

What Muki has is a ball/blob in place of the head and body. If she IS in fact referring to this in her journal, she's... misinformed. Otherwise, I think you're jumping to conclusions.

well not really i just wanted to get some facts straightined out if i was really rud about it i appoligize that ewas not my intention to be rude.

there isn't much of a reason to give her recognition for the idea as it's a broad idea that I'm positive has been around much longer than her drawing blobs. Off the top of my head there is digimon, which has been around for years, the demi versions are all blobs.
the tomogachi's were also blobs.
I'm sorry that you feel bad for muki, but you shouldn't really. ideas are repeated and obviously no one is directly copying her things, they are just using a style.

(1) You shouldn't feel bad for me. I wrote the journal cause I was making a statement and thought it was funny... But it seems alot of people thought I was actually really serious.

(2) Don't jump into conclusions please? Talk with the artists and such. You'll get a better understanding of both sides AND there will be less trolling towards any one person in particular.
