Say hello to the remaining OCs I'll be making for quite a bit! The bossy, yet adventurous invertor, Cherry the Meowstic and her dorky gamer little brother, Ace the chonky Buizel! These two'll be playing much bigger roles in some future stories!

Had a lot of fun writing this one and my stories just keep getting longer and longer! This one is 4000 words! I really hope you guys like it!

Kajex and Rhys are currently strolling through the streets on a late, Saturday morning, relieved that they can finally do whatever after a stressful week. Currently they're just munching on some Berries for lunch.

"Mmmm, Leppa Berries..." Rhys said as his mouth began watering with each and every bite he took, "Such a perfect mixture of flavors as their juices slosh around in my mouth!" "Hehe, whatever you say," Kajex smirked as he bit into a Cheri Berry, "You just love gawking about food."

Rhys' red eye glows with a blush.

"Sh-Shut up ya dingus!" Rhys panicked, "I do NOT!!!" "Right, says the guy who still sleeps with his stuffed Teddiursa he's had since he was 5," Kajex countered.

Rhys slugs Kajex in the face after that.

"NO I DO NOT!!!!" Rhys said both enraged and completely embarrassed, "Y-You do to with Mr. Tubbykins!" "W-We don't talk about Mr. Tubbykins!" Kajex blushed as he rubbed his cheek as it slowly, but visibly repairs. "I am going to kill you the second I get the chance," Rhys begrudgingly sighed.

They soon start heading up a large set of stone stairs, still trying to shrug off that whole exchange between each other.

"At least I don't have snoot boops that make me shrink!" Rhys snickered. "Y-Yeah, th-that too," Kajex replied as he covered his face with his hood, "B-But I only tell the people I trust that!" "Yeah, yeah," Rhys shrugged, "At least I'm not your oversized boss who'll make you a look like a Komala compared to-" "Look out!" an unknown male voice echoed.

In that instant, a dozen boxes filled with stuff like tools, machine parts, and one even with some food falls right on top of the two friends, sending them tumbling all the way down to the bottom of the stairs.

"Ah god that HURTS!!!" Rhys exclaimed as he rubbed his head and scar. "Yeah, that didn't feel too good..." Kajex gritted as he got the boxes off of him. "Oh my god I'm SO sorry about that!" the voice echoed again.

A young male Buizel who appears to be around 12 wearing a white T-shirt with black edges and black stripes that run vertically on the sides and another one going across his chest, blue gym shorts with a white scallop on the bottom left, dark blue, rectangular glasses, and a silver chain with an orange charm around his neck rushes down the steps and immediately helps the two onto their feet.

"Y-Yeah, I'm alright," Kajex groaned in pain, "I'll recover in a half hour or so." "I feel like I just got hit by a car," Rhys groaned as his scar began to ache. "Again, I'm so sorry!" the Buizel exclaimed, "My sister made me-" "Ace!" a high-pitched, female voice echoed, "Get the supplies and then we can get back to my lab!"

A short female Meowstic in a pair of brown goggles on her forehead, light blue, denim overalls slightly patched up, a faded green, somewhat dirty shirt, and a light brown bag with a logo of a cherry made of gears filled with some mysterious devices around her right shoulder is trotting down the stairs to catch up to the Buizel seemingly named Ace.

"Cherry, that's a dozen boxes filled with metal!" Ace exclaimed, "That's not easy to carry solo!" "Wait a dozen boxes solo?!" Kajex and Rhys exclaimed with their jaws dropped. "You think I can carry any of that?" Cherry exclaimed as she bonked Ace's skull, "Maybe you should've listened to me and had a couple gallons of water on standby!"

Kajex and Rhys stare at them confused.

"Uh... what is happening here?" Rhys asked with his head cocked to the side. "You um... don't want to ask," Ace blushed. "Oh that? He's got some weird growth ability that kicks in when he drinks water," Cherry shrugged, "My fault he has it too." "Hey!" Ace retaliated, "Don't go telling everyone about that sis!"

That sparks so many emotions in Kajex.

"W-Wait, growth abilities?!" he exclaimed with a tinge of excitement. "Um... yes?" Ace awkwardly replied, "Why are you excited about that?"

Kajex scoops up the boxes as Rhys lets out a sigh.

"Watch and let Kajex blow you out of the water," Rhys sighed. "How is that possible?" Cherry smirked devilishly, "No way he has anything that can beat the great Cher-"

Kajex bulks up to about triple his normal size, carrying all the boxes with ease as his tail happily wags at rapid speeds.

"Wh-What the actual-?!" Ace and Cherry exclaimed completely dumbfounded. "Hey, you guys want me to carry these back to your place?" Kajex eagerly replied. "Heh, I can tell you how we have a Lucario like this in the world," Rhys smirked as he gave Cherry and Ace a tap on the shoulder.

The two awkwardly snap back to reality as they try to pry their eyes from the giant Lucario towering above them.

"Y-Yes, we're j-just heading back to my laboratory with all my new parts and replacement tools so I can continue my work on the DNA Scrambler," Cherry said with a slight stutter. "U-Um yeah, what she said," Ace blushed. "Then lead the way!" Kajex smiled. "J-Just this way..." Cherry gestured.

Everyone slowly follows the little inventor.

A good while later...

Everyone has awkwardly arrived at a large, run down, three story, brick building. Several windows are boarded up and chunks of the outer wall are completely missing, leaving Kajex and Rhys standing there awkwardly in confusion while Kajex shrinks to normal size.

"Uh..." the friends awkwardly left their jaws wide open. "Ah, home sweet home!" Cherry gleefully exclaimed, "Good to be back!" "I just wanna go take a naaaap," groaned Ace. "W-Wait, you two actually LIVE in this run down hunk of junk?!" Rhys stuttered awkwardly.

Cherry strolls over and gives Rhys a good BONK on the head.

"Don't go poking at my lab just based on the outside!" she exclaimed as she flailed her arms all over the place, "So now YOU get to carry in all the boxes! Ace gets to plop on his futon and I'll give the Lucario here a quick tour!" "Aw what?!" Rhys exclaimed with a pout, "No fair!" "Fair in my books you oaf of a mutt!" Cherry countered.

Cherry casually walks inside behind Ace, leaving Kajex to awkwardly look back at his friend as he groaned with each box he picked up before going inside, only to be met with a jarring sight to say the least.

"WHOA!!!!" he exclaimed in awe.

The whole first floor is all neat and tidy, the tile floors spotless, a small living room at the entrance with a small TV, glass coffee table, and a large couch. Just beyond that is a small kitchen with a silver and green color pallet permeating throughout it. Lastly, two rooms in the far back left corner with a staircase in front of them and one room being the bathroom. The other seemingly being storage.

"Welcome to Casa de Cherry!" Cherry snickered as she stood in the center of the room, "Where I make world ending inventions and energy sources!" "And also where your inventions work 20% of the time," Ace snickered. "Ah you shut up!" Cherry countered, "Go to your room and sleep or something!"

Ace shrugs before letting out a yawn, now heading up for the second floor as Rhys struggles to bring the first box inside.

"I'm gonna be honest, I didn't expect this place to look as clean as it does," Kajex remarked as his ears went aflutter. "Thank my auto-clean system I made wen I was 9 for that," Cherry boasted, "Any scrap of debris on the floor will be dealt with in minutes!"

Rhys plops onto the one box he brought in, already burnt out and aching.

"I can't handle a dozen of these things," Rhys wheezed and whimpered. "Well guess what you mutt?!" Cherry replied.

She bonks him in the skull again, harder this time.

"You're gonna get every single box in here before I'll even THINK about letting you off the hook!" Cherry commanded.

Rhys lets out a soft puppy whimper before heading back outside.

"I'm just confused as to why he's letting this happen," Kajex thought as he awkwardly began to sweat, "He probably would've just left me here on my own by now because he'd be annoyed like no other."

Cherry lets out a sigh of relief before trotting up to Kajex.

"Is that mutt really that much of a dork?" she asked him. "U-Uh... not usually THIS much of a dork, but he's usually one nonetheless," Kajex awkwardly blushed as he rubbed the back of his head.

Cherry walks over to the staircase.

"Well, while he continues paying his price of admission," Cherry remarked, "I'll go ahead and give you a tour of the second floor. The REAL lab is on the top."

Kajex darts over to her as fast as possible, like he was in the army or something trying to not have a an extra 200 push-ups that following training regimen.

"Y-Yes!" Kajex began to fidget about. "Hey, no need to have you sweating up a storm," Cherry shrugged, "You've already proven a hundred times more helpful than Ace and that mutt combined. No bonks from me... for now."

Kajex breathes a HEFTY sigh of relief as the two of them head upstairs.

"This floor is more so just where me and Ace sleep, plus a couple guest rooms and invention storage," she shrugged, "Sadly no one ever visits us here." "O-Oh really?" Kajex stuttered, "S-Sorry to hear that Cherry..." "Eh, doesn't really bother us," she shrugged, "And you and that dork will probably just forget about today anyways." "N-No we won't!" Kajex replied, "In fact, we know a couple people who'd love to stop by here too!"

They stop by a large room with the door slightly ajar.

"Now this is my room that I sleep in about once per month," Cherry said as a half-joke. "Uh... why's that?" Kajex asked.

They step inside to see a room painted a dark blue, a tiny bed with a nightstand in the corner, a large window on the far wall, a closed closet on the far left wall, and a large workbench on the right.

"Oh I usually pass out at like 3 in the morning in my lab," she shrugged, "Once I actually got my head stuck in an invention I call the Digitizer and needed Ace to pull me out." "O-Oh..." Kajex awkwardly said as he rubbed his shoulder, "My co-worker does a similar thing."

They exit the room after noticing not too much in there.

"Eh, it's just something you get used to after a while," Cherry shrugged again, "Now anyways, we'll check in on that tub of water and then check on that wimp." "I guess that's a plan?" Kajex awkwardly squeaked.

They casually stroll down the hall as they hear faint snoring in the distance.

"Oh um minor question but uh... how old is Ace and why does he call you sis?" Kajex awkwardly asked. "Oh that?" she replied, "He just turned 12 and he's my adopted brother." "W-Wait you had a 12 year old move a dozen boxes THAT heavy?!" "I offered to carry a couple gallons of water to help him," she shrugged. "F-For his abilities right? Kajex stuttered his reply. "Yep," Cherry replied, "Makes him big and a little more chonky."

They arrive at a door that's slightly ajar and the source of the snoring.

"This is Ace's room," Cherry said, "He's a CRAZY heavy sleeper so no need to be all that quiet." "O-Okay then," Kajex replied as he awkwardly rubbed his shoulder, "I-I'll be quiet anyways..."

They cautiously step inside a dimly lit room painted blue, the walls lined with posters based off video games, a small bookshelf with action figures in the corner, a small dresser opposite to the bookshelf, a small table and black futon with the center (Ace currently asleep on the futon like a baby) and a large TV on a white stand beside the door.

"Whoa..." Kajex whispered under his breath, "He's got some cool stuff." "Eh, just stuff he got for his birthdays and crap from our parents," Cherry rolled her eyes at, "He's a bit of a gaming nerd."

Kajex can't help but to go, "Awwwwww," at the sleepy little Bui.

"Yeah, yeah, it's adorable," Cherry scoffed at, "But he's not the main attraction! Still haven't gotten to my actual laboratory! It's just upstairs!"

They swiftly exit the room and head for the stairs, only to faintly hear groans from the first floor.

"Heeeelp meeeee," the voice groaned. "Ah come on Rhys!" Kajex rolled his eyes at. "That mutt sure can groan," Cherry replied.

They head downstairs real quick to find Rhys lying on the stairs and all 12 boxes safely moved inside.

"I... I did it," Rhys shuddered, "And I already threw up in the toilet." "Dude, this is why you gotta actually get a little exercise!" Kajex exclaimed as he got down and hoisted Rhys onto his back. "You try living life without growth powers Kajex," Rhys groaned.

Kajex takes him up the stairs.

"Eh, you did your job adequately enough," Cherry remarked, "You can come up with me to my lab with your friend here. Maybe give you something nice if you behave."

Rhys' nub of a tail eagerly wags.

"Good mutt," Cherry smirked, "Now you two follow me."

Kajex slowly, but steadily carries his friend all the way up to the third floor, only to be met with a jaw dropping sight.

"O-Oh my god," they exclaimed simultaneously, "This place is your lab?!"

Their jaws had touched the floor, the room was vast and seemingly took up the whole floor. The walls were metallic and pulsing with a faded blue light, the walls lined with strange and unique devices like unusual armbands, rays, and tiny boxes. There's even a whole chamber seemingly under construction in the center of the room. Tools, screws, blueprints, and more on a large workbench at the far back of the room, not to mention a small box of seemingly discarded inventions beside it. There's also a strange, reddish-pink, glowing array of batteries lining the walls.

"This is where I spend about 80% of my life!" Cherry cackled maniacally, "The cream of the crop of all inventors up here!"

Kajex snaps his and Rhys' jaws back in place.

"Th-This place is insane!" Rhys exclaimed, "I haven't seen anything like this!" "M-My small lab at work pales in comparison to this sort of lab!" Kajex squeaked, "G-Gonna take a couple mental notes from this..."

Her eyes are sparking with pure passion.

"Excellent to hear!" she devilishly smirked, "Been working on this stuff since I was a little Espurr in my room!" "Wh-Whoa really?!" Rhys exclaimed, "That's actually awesome!" "Heh, glad you think so mutt," Cherry smirked.

She strolls up and boops Rhys on the nose, immediately triggering all sorts of alarms in Kajex's brain.

"Since when does Rhys suck up to a girl like this?" he thought, "He ain't the type to just let that happen to him."

Rhys blushes softly like a good boy.

"Now I'll give a rundown on a few of these and then I'll happily give you a little taste of my genius to have whenever," she smiled, "That box over there has a couple spares!" "O-Oh cool!" Kajex stuttered, "C-Can't wait to see what you can do!"

She grabs a small, silver coated ray gun off the wall.

"This bad boy is my Size-Siphoner!" she cackled with glee, "It can remove the molecules from any source of matter, then can give it to anything else by completely altering the molecular structure of the molecules inside! Works on people too!"

Kajex and Rhys jump a bit at the words.

"F-For the love of god PLEASE never let something like that slip into Naomi or Jade's hands!" Rhys panicked, "You will find half the city crushed in hugs!" "D-Definitely not my boss either!" Kajex squeaked. "Oh re-laaaaax!" Cherry smirked, "It can't siphon from anything smaller than the total amount of molecules inside the thing. Weird quirk I couldn't iron out."

They breathe a HEFTY sigh of relief.

"Why? Those ladies have an addiction to feeling big or something?" Cherry asked as she tilted her head. "Well um... Naomi's a Mienshao, his boss is an oversized Samurott, and Jade is a Goodra" Rhys began. "Okay YEP not gonna let a Goodra get her hands on this!" Cherry panicked, "I am NOT going to get all that goo out of my fur for weeks!"

She twirls the ray in her hands as Kajex lowers Rhys onto his feet.

"I'll give you a demonstration though," she smirked, "Just to prove it to ya."

In that instance she hits Rhys with an unusual pink beam, zapping him all the way down to an inch tall, clearly making him angry.

"Aw come on!" the tiny pupper squeaked in rage, "Why'd you have to go and zap me?!" "I told you it works on people," she smirked and rolled her eyes, "And I'm not risking a zap on someone who has Dynamax Radiation pumping through his veins!" "I-I guess..." Kajex blushed as he took a step away from his microscopic friend.

Cherry then walks over much to Rhys' surprise, before scooping him up and burying him in her neck fluff.

"H-Hey!" he blushed, "P-Put me back to normal now!" "How about I leave such a squeaker like YOU like this for the rest of the tour?!" Cherry countered, "How does THAT make you feel?"

Rhys continues to pout as he crosses his arms.

"Why is she just so cute?" Rhys thought, "And why is it so weird looking at everyone from Kajex's perspective? Is this what he felt first time being around Naomi?"

Cherry then pulls out a screw and sets it on the floor before taking aim again, zapping it, but nothing happens.

"See?" Cherry remarked, "It never works on this tiny junk after the first zap." "O-Oh really?" Kajex stuttered, "That is quite a bizarre problem to have." "But eh, whatever," she shrugged, "At least it's easy to stuff a whole pizza or something in my bag." "Th-That's true," Kajex blushed. "Also me," Rhys faintly grumbled. "Say something mutt?" Cherry smirked. "N-No I didn't!" Rhys panicked as his red eye glew up.

She smushes Rhys deeper into her fur as she began laughing.

"Yeah, this isn't like Rhys," Kajex thought, "He would've bitten her hand by now."

Cherry tosses Kajex a strange, white armband giving off a faint, blue glow.

"Go ahead and slip on my Invisibility Band," Cherry smirked. "I-Invisibility Band?" Kajex asked. "Does it do what it-" "Yes, yes, now do it!" she exclaimed.

Kajex slipped the band on, only to fade before their very eyes.

"Wh-Whoa!" Rhys exclaimed, "How is he invisible?!" "Well you microscopic puppy," Cherry began, "The band temporarily generates a field of mirror like substance that makes all light bounce off of Kajex and without light touching him, you can't see him."

Kajex slips off the band to become visible again.

"Th-This place is awesome!" Kajex exclaimed as his tail began to wag. "Why thank you uh... Kajex right?" Cherry replied.

Kajex nods.

"Guess I'll show you guys my current project," Cherry thought, "Give this cute puppy a souvenir, and send you both on your merry way." "C-Cute?!" Rhys blushed as his heart skipped 20 beats, "M-Me?!"

Cherry's ears and tail stand on end.

"D-Did I just say that?" she awkwardly blushed, "S-Sorry Cherry, but um... you did," Kajex awkwardly replied.

She gives her cheeks a quick pinch before snapping back to reality and heading over to the mostly unfinished chamber looking device she was working on.

"Behold! The DNA Scrambler!" Cherry cackled like a mad scientist, "This bad boy will be able to temporarily be able to rewrite a person's genetic code so they can be any Pokemon they want!" "Oooooo," the guys simultaneously replied, "Sounds awesome!" "It will be!" she smirked, "This'll put me on the map for sure! Just gonna need some DNA samples from a LOT of people to get this all set when the device is ready!"

Kajex examines it closely.

"I-I'd love to see it when it's done!" Kajex said amazed, "I'd even give you some Lucario DNA if possible!" "Just a biiiit of some tinkering with your DNA should remove that Radiation issue, so I'll happily accept!" Cherry happily replied, "You too mutt!" "O-Of course!" Rhys stuttered, "Y-You have my word!"

Cherry sets the tiny Rhys on the floor before zapping him with the Size-Siphoner, returning him to normal.

"Oh thank you Cherry," Rhys sighed out of relief, "Was getting overwhelmed." "Get used to it, because that'll be quite frequent with me around!" Cherry said as she bonked Rhys's noggin, making him whine like a puppy.

Kajex gives his buddy a pat on the shoulder.

"Okay then, glad to have you two doofuses over," Cherry said as she pulled out a small box filled with miscellaneous inventions, "Take one. They're just spares."

Rhys immediately pulls out a grey collar from the box as Kajex grabs a small, copper ring.

"Rhys has my Rearranger," she smirked, "It can completely restructure an item to whatever you desire as long as the elements in the desired item are the same as what you transform. That ring there is a Thought Reader. Whoever wears it can hear the thoughts of another they touch. Great for secret spilling."

Kajex pockets his device as Rhys snaps on his new collar before tightening it.

"So um... do I just touch something and think it up?" Rhys awkwardly asked. "Of course!" Cherry exclaimed, "No buttons or anything on the thing!"

She pulls out a small sheet of iron.

"Just think of like a sword or something and touch this!" she exclaimed. "o-Okay geez I'm on it!" Rhys haphazardly replied.

The second Rhys' clawtip touched the iron, the sheet rearranged itself in the shape of a short sword with a sharp edge the clanged against the metallic floor.

"Wh-Whoa!" Rhys exclaimed. "Th-That's awesome!" Kajex continued. "You two are sounding like broken records already," Cherry rolled her eyes at, "Just a whoa after another today.

She takes a look outside, clearly seeing the sun slowly beginning to set.

"And it looks like it's time for you two to pack your bags and get outta here," Cherry remarked, "I doubt you two would wanna be late for work or anything tomorrow... not uh... having some of Ace's cooking."

Those words snap those two back to reality.

"A-Ah crap you're right!" Kajex exclaimed in a panic, "Th-Thanks for having us over!" "W-We'll be sure to visit a bunch!" Rhys continued. "Go ahead. I don't mind making you two lose your minds," Cherry replied, "Maybe bring those friends of yours, but warn me first so I can hide the Size-Siphoner," Cherry replied, "Just give me your contact info."

The three of them quickly exchange their info as they head down to the first floor.

"Thanks again Cherry!" Kajex said a tad shaky.

The two guys slowly step out the front door into the cool even air before waving back at Cherry before she slowly closes the door behind them.

"Hey Rhys?" Kajex asked, "There's something I want to ask." "O-Oh?" Rhys blushed, "What is it?"

They turn the nearest corner.

"Um... why were you bending to Cherry's whim?" Kajex asked. "I-I..." Rhys began.

His cheeks and eyes glew almost as bright as the city lights.

"I really like her," Rhys squeaked, "L-Like a whole lot."

Meanwhile...

Cherry breathes a sigh of relief as she plops onto the nearby couch.

"God I can't believe I let that slip," she sighed, "That Rhys was kinda cute though..."

Footsteps echo above Cherry.

"Hey Cherry!" Ace's voice echoed, "It's almost dinner time! It's gonna be my signature Oran Berry spaghetti tonight!"

Cherry shuddered at the thought as the footsteps echoed down the stairs.

"I really need to get him several dozen recipes to at least FOLLOW properly," she shuddered, "So that he can at least get some proper practice."

Ace starts working in the kitchen...
