A curse is only something that is negative towards the target and uses some type of magic subtle or not(I include some mentally changing spells/curses in this definition even if it is made that the person likes the curse. And I do add things that are specifically called curses, but aren't bad like the curses in paper mario the thousand-year door, and the curse that one bat gives you in a link to the past).
