Yosh, with help of BAYLEEF and KINGDRA, managed to successfully earn the four badges for The Orange islands. Unfortunately the final tournament was battle based and BAYLEEF and KINGDRA wanted to show their skills. However you needed at least three Pokemon to battle and TOGETIC had no interest in pursuing Pokemon Battles.
Yosh and his Poke Pals were happy in the islands. So they were elated to hear of The Alolan Region. It was here they found themselves in quite the proverbial pickle when familiar Pokemon had not only taken on new attributes, but also had been fighting over the local freshwater lake of a non-human populated island.

BAYLEEF and Yosh were surprised as the crystal-clear lake seemed deserted. Freshwater sources in Alolan never failed to bring about all sorts of Pokemon in the region. However their confusion did not last long before a voice spoke to them telepathically to leave or face dire consequences.
Turning about, Yosh, TOGETIC, and BAYLEEF were shocked, no pun intended, to see a RAICHU hovering towards them. He was flanked by two intimidating AZUMARILL with other mouse and rodent-type Pokemon now watching from the nearby forest’s edge.
Without a moment to consider what was happening, KINGDRA sprung from his Poke Ball and made his stance on this matter by taking to the lake and firing a powerful ‘Ice Beam’ towards the RAICHU. The RAICHU quickly put up a shield before sparking its yellow cheeks and waving its long, lightning-bolt tipped tail to usher his colleagues to force Yosh and friends from the lake.
Noticing the impending violence, TOGETIC quickly tried to use its ‘Charm’ to lessen the tension. Unfortunately the AZUMARILL, being Faerie types, negated TOGETIC’s efforts before launching ‘Water Gun’ attacks at TOGETIC.
BAYLEEF, being strong against water and electric Pokemon, blocked the attack on TOGETIC before using its ‘Razor Leaf’ to knock back the AZUMARILL. Unfortunately, this gave the RAICHU the chance to use ‘Psychic’ to toss BAYLEEF into the lake and set its sights on Yosh and TOGETIC.

All hope seemed lost until a FARFECTCH’D, armed with an extremely long leak, rushed in and started to use a series of fighting type moves upon the distracted RAICHU and his AZUMARILL colleagues. The next thing Yosh knew were a number of DUCKLETT using ‘Aerial Ace’, ‘Brave Bird’, ‘Steel Wing’, and other moves while a shiny DUCKLETT, which was pink in color, communicated to TOGETIC and BAYLEEF that they needed to follow them to safety.
Yosh, eager to get away from the conflict, brought KINGDRA back into his ball, hopped on the, now vulnerable to electric attack, BAYLEEF, and followed the shiny DUCKLETT as the fighting FARFETCH’D and DUCKLETT realized they were losing ground. The brave FARFETCH’D kept up his fight with the RAICHU and his AZUMARILL allies until the DUCKLETT got away from the army of rodent Pokemon. The FARFETCH’D then struck a pose, used ‘Sand Storm’, and vanished off to where Yosh and his friends were being lead back to.
