This was going to be a butterfly-dragon but my fiancee wanted me to go for a sea serpent so I started doodling this. Okay, well, there will be another one of these popping up, just in different colors. When I finished the ink, I didn't know which color theme to shoot for. This is my first color theme, being contrasting colors. I'm quite proud of the color job on this one ^^.

Ah... sweet Shinma Leviatian.
That's pretty impressive color work for the use of colored pencils. I say this knowing full well I'm incapable of using them in such a manner.
It's the different grades of blue you have in the picture that I happen to find nice on the eyes.
Plus it sets out the lighter blue scales of the sea creature thus featured. Which.. I'll have to say isn't quite Leviatian, but I give no complaint.
