Ahhh nifty. someone with a beardie. i have been watching a friends beardie for awhile. and latly, while hes agitated hes bear and hi whole body turn green, his beard like a dark green. when hes not aggitated, he stays a normal forest color. kinda like woodland camo. is this bad? cus liek the owner says beared truning green is always bad. thier envitment is fine. thier eating habits are a bit irragulr but not terribaly so, and they get clean moving water dailiy.
Honestly they haven't lived in a cleaner environment since i have been watching them. the owner fell back in her computer chair, landed on the tank. and smashed it. instead of getting a new tank. they epoxy it and put him back in.

A green bearded dragon? I have never heard of that.
it might be a water dragon.
the beard is a type of mood indicator. a dark gray means their angry at something. a pitch black is VERY angry or they are attempting to dominate territory. pale white is normally content, or tired.
the body can change color slightly. it's mainly used in thermos-regulation. Darker colors can mean their cold or they are attempting to gather more heat from a lamp or the sun.
Orion up here is pale white since he's WAY to warm. Bearded Dragons will also open their mouths to vent more heat.
Bearded Dragons don't need all that much care, food, clean water and heat is all they need to survive.
and I don't think epoxy would be toxic to them. just make sure there's no glass in the tank, if they ingest a piece it could cause internal bleeding.
