It's a thing that settles in over time in relation to dreir psychology and den psychology, parents don't bond with their young so it is common for a distaste to grow from being referred to as a parent or as a child of a parent as genetic families start to drift apart

Just noticed that Caballero's neck is sagging a bit. I guess that's one way to determine whether or not a drek is of advanced age.

There are a lot of ways but that is one o fthem
Blackened scales are a mark of old age, sagging hide, mana veins as the scales grow thinner and the mana in a dragons veins can be seen, etc.
