Looking towards the north-east across the Menstrie Glen, mid-October. The river is on the bottom of a deep ravine, quite difficult to access, but beautiful if managed so. Most of the hills are covered by rows and rows of saplings, something which is certainly desperately needed in this area, eventually becoming a forestry.
