I love the references, I assume that for many it will be evident that it is that kind of reddish flame that comes out of Kris's eye. He also wanted to give him an armor similar or moderately similar to the one Naofumi Iwatani from Tate no Yuusha wears.
Also, this drawing serves as a Redraw of an old version of Kris from my DeltaRune UA. My two AUs from the TobyFox fandom have War in the title for obvious reasons, and I'm talking about Medieval Wars and the consequences of them. Besides that the concepts of fantasy and all that that entails appeals to me a lot and there came an occasion in which I almost dedicated all my fanarts to putting something medieval on it, but maybe one day I will.
