Girl got turned mostly into a riolu. Reason: Butters. Need I say more?
... alright, I guess I do. She was out one day walking her Riolu and then she was suddenly approached by Butters. Her natural and correct instinct was to run, but Butters cornered them ridiculously quickly, saying that she just needed some Riolu stomach acid.
"No!" the girl cried, "Do NOT touch my darling Riolu!"
Butters then smiled, "Alrighty, then!"
One popper of sleeping gas and a couple injections later, Butters got what she wanted without touching the girl's Riolu!
So, yeah. Careful what you say around her. In fact, maybe just make every single word you ever say to her be "no".

Could be that it's incredibly flattered and thankful that her owner would sacrifice her own body for it. Maybe she is excited they now have more things in common than before.
