AKA 'Duke's slightly late Creation Day Pic'

This was supposed to be a regular pic. Then, I stupidly turned it into a reference sheet on Apr. 11, which is Duke's creation day. That tacked on another day of work T_T It looks a bit crowded on there.
Kinda forgot in the last pic that he had a flopped ear. I did a little more work on the muzzle or whatever it's called. I made the markings pretty simple on here but I really use 7 colours for all his light markings, with the exception of his facial markings. In addition, his lips, gums, mucosa, etc. are pretty much a darker colour than his tongue. Just take his tongue colour and lower the value a bit.

Re-meet Duke, JC's strict-but-loving grandfather. (Now you know why she's so darn fluffy X3)
Pretty much described as a hard ass when you first meet him, (though I don't see how with all that butt fluff) but he's a kind, respectful old guy. He values hard work, respect, and most of all, his family. Like JC he can heal others, but he chooses not to. "Battle scars are a mark of honour," he'd always say. You know all those springs JC has? Duke built them all.
As pack leader of the Grassland Motley for 15 years, Duke has peacefully gathered many animal species into the group. He knows that each animal has value in his pack even if they don't know it initially. He's so well loved that every calls him 'dad' or even 'Grandpa.' If anyone of the members have a dispute, they come straight to Duke, knowing that he's caring and will hear them out and he can figure out what to do. Unlimited access to Duke is what makes so many different animals flock to his group. He once got a late night visit from a fox and a hare quarreling over what's the best place to sun themselves.
The love of his life is Tassel and they had two sons together. The oldest is named Jonah, the youngest is named John. Duke raised them both to be kind and respectful of others. When Jonah and John became of age, he selected John to be the pack's leader. He saw the hatred and prejudice Jonah had for all non-canine members while John was always comfortable among every animal. Even John's best friend growing up was a ground squirrel. Having picked John as a leader, Duke and Tassel retired their positions and just became like any member of the pack. Though he still advises anyone who needs it.
He usually spends his days talking about his numerous battles and glory days to anyone unlucky enough to lend an ear, hanging out with Tassel, or spoiling his new little granddaughter rotten.
Later on, Jonah's jealous betrayal ended the lives of Duke, John, and John's mate, Josephine.
