The falling of the weathervane rooster of Braheastad church has marked three noteable people from Braheastad to die soon. A stationmaster and a magistrate have already died, and the seer has foreseen that mayor Corbalt will the third one to die within a month! But he could avoid or postpone this fate by accomplishing some great deed or sacrifice. That is why he hires Sir Kiljaos, the lion paladin of wind, to be his bodyguard for a month and help him to figure out and accomplish this deed. Death can come in form of an assassin so they can't stay in Braheastad, so they plan to go live in a deserted villa near the village of Lapa.
