First pass sketch of a species that I'm working on. I'm posting the WIP here to get feedbacks. I will not be changing the body shape, because I've had this design in my head very specifically... but I'm still not sure where I'm going with it's coloring.

They are creatures as old as the universe, and can travel through space by transforming into a small nebula. I'm thinking about giving them nebula-like patterns on the crest and back... but I'm beginning to wonder if that's too predictable.

They will be an open species (Meaning anyone can make a character from this species) and will be a lot less restricted then most other open species I have created or will create because they live forever and can be found anyplace in the universe. Therefore, time and space are an unknown concept to them.

The name of the species is "Observers" for now... but I'll probably come up with a more proper and original name for them.
