I finally look up Freya on this site to see what's there for the glorious dragoon, and I saw this mobile game sprite thing https://www.spriters-resource.com/fullview/71237/
As much as I'm sure that tiny fallen one is a ko, it looked and worked in context enough like flattening that I had to work my magic.
Fortunately, I used a normal xi style carbuncle this time, so this totaly party wipe isn't a strike against me.
