Rickie is the main character of a story I'm currently working on (or at least starting) as part of NaNoWriMo this year, and will begin posting either in December or January. I can't give away any of the story details yet, but I can tell you a bit about Rickie himself!

A red panda demi, Rickie is a young man trying to survive his best in a world where he's at an inherent disadvantage. He works two jobs -- Monday through Friday he's a doorman at a high-class apartment complex (not the same one he lives in -- nowhere close!), and on the weekends when tips are plentiful, he works as a waiter for a restaurant. In his spare time at home he works out either on an old treadmill in his apartment building's basement, or with some hand weights owned by his roommate Desmond.

I did have to add the text to his shirt in the center, however, because a few people I showed him off to were confusing him for either a fox or a raccoon. It does give him kind of a "thrift store shopper" look, which definitely fits his overall lifestyle.

As mentioned, I'm working on his story as we speak! I may not be able to reach an actual conclusion by the end of November, but at the very least I should get a nice start on it.
