Wisolunen (Wish-OH-lune-enn) are among the creepiest races in the universe.
They take the appearance of light colored humanoid creatures with wolflike heads that always have 4 blank white eyes and mouths with long tongues at the bottom of their snouts, and fluffy bodies with at least 4 tentacles for their legs, with each of them able to release a needle with a knockout poison they can inject their prey with, and several spiky growths made of a crystal that grows on their planet which pokes out of their body, emitting thick mist, alongside heavily varied height. They can also shoot hard lightlike tentacles made from mist out of their back as well. To add onto this, they drift and move as if they are mindless, yet display great intellect (even though it is mainly the intellect of a predatory animal).
Their internal systems are also very odd. Their brains, which resemble round hard shelled cores, also function as their muscle and hearts, with several veiny nerves that twist along their bones like vines, commanding their bodies to move. They also seem to have no blood, and their stomachs, which are more similar in appearance and function to sacks, can also produce a thick slime that can be molded into crystallike cocoons they use to store their prey. Their “skin” is best described as a cold, slightly liquid, soft metal, and their fur is wispy, yet surprisingly soft.
Onto their prey, they eat whatever they can… and they also reproduce using their prey. They kidnap organisms from other planets, and then return to their homes with them and store them in their cocoons, then inject a strange fluid into them. From then on, in a transformation best described as the victim’s bodies melting into their new form, they slowly turn into a Wisolunen themselves while their captors feed off their memories and the fluid that was once their past selves. When the transformation ends, the new Wisolunen has little traits and no memories of their past selves.
It is possible for beings who were kidnapped to be rescued before their transformation finishes, but they will suffer side effects, along physical changes, that include constant headaches and pains, animalistic instincts that range from easy to very hard to fight off, difficulty eating, and more.
But, some expectations do exist for that no memory rule. Rarely, a Wisolunen will remember some parts of their past, either right after emergence, or they return sometime after. This realization is usually met by shock if they return to them, or reluctance to exist if they emerge with them. However, other Wisolunen show hatred to these errors, and will do whatever it takes to slaughter them, and they leave their corpses dotted along their home planet as a reminder to the others.
Their planet is covered in a thick layer of snow and smoke, the latter of which is generated by massive crystals mountains that grow off the planet and make up at least 45% of their skeletons. There are two types of buildings on it, the first being rounded crystallike masses similar in shape to skyscrapers where they rest and store their incubating young and food, and the second being ruined structures of unknown origin where only few of their cocoons lay. Their planet also has its fair share of overgrown forests as well.
They show no weakness to the weather of their home or any other planet, or even the darkness and cold of space, which they drift across like jellyfish to find their prey.
To add onto their mystery, their origins are unknown, with scientists and historians at a loss for what their past is, and from the few living rebel ones, not even they know where they came from. Regardless, they are not to be taken lightly no matter what. If you see one coming for you, hiding is your best- and safest- bet.

Was in a bit of an art block, but I think I’m back now.
