2. Luga

I know Luga since he lives in my old apartment. He seems to be an exchange student from Panama. I can’t remember his full name, but it sounded something like Luga, so that will have to do.

Though he lives in our community, I often see him roaming around across the campus, seemingly with no purpose other than strolling and sunbathing. He’s always wearing a flowery Hawaiian shirt and a bandana around his left wrist, which he thinks is pretty hip. Luga doesn’t usually wear pants, preferring to wear a sauna towel around his waist instead. I’ve never seen anyone wear that outside of figure-drawing studios, but there he is, wearing it on the streets.

Luga is tanned a deep olive. He says he’s half German on his dad’s side, which helps me place that slight tinge in his accent.
