Marine is a little softspoken but loves to talk about magic and spells! He's also a tad bit smarter than his kobold brethren and can speak in first person just fine by using "I" when referring to himself. Though, when flustered or nervous he reverts back to dum dum mode and becomes a bit more like other kobolds in that regard. he likes spells that cause changes and usually uses them to make himself feel better if he ever gets anxious
