How long had she been stuck here?
It was honestly hard to tell - Blaze was pretty sure time had stopped working properly once she set foot inside the cursed palace. At the very least, this probably meant she hadn't been in here for that long, but that didn't really make things better from her perspective. Either way, she was kept busy; she felt... compelled to walk the halls of the estate, performing duties, dances, and tea ceremonies for some sort of unseen audience. Even when she was completely alone, she felt like she had dozens of eyes on her as her body moved with no input from herself.
During the rare times she did have control... it didn't really help much. There seemed to be no way to actually leave the residence, no matter how hard she tried, and her new appearance... nothing she did could undo it. No amount of pulling or tugging made the kimono any less tight and restrictive, her now-jet-black hair refused to fall out of the ornate bun it was styled into, and nothing would wash her elaborate makeup off. Was this what that tangling feeling at the start was? To make her new look her only look?
And yet, despite all this, those ghostly hands never seemed satisfied. They reappeared constantly, fidgeting and fussing with her appearance. Adjusting stray hairs that Blaze never realized were out of place, reapplying her makeup, fixing the creases and folds in her dress... It was a never-ending barrage of unwanted pampering.
It would only be a matter of time until someone came looking for her - she was a princess after all - and hopefully she'd be able to put this incredibly awkward experience behind her. She just hoped that it would be sooner rather than later. Either way, one thing was for certain: Once she was out of here, she was burning this place to the ground.

Wouldn't burning it only make the ghosts angry? Be careful, Blaze! Once you're set free, do an exorcism so the spirits can't harass anyone anymore. There should be a spiritual seal, and the palace should of course be put under lock and key. Then burn the key. Then board up the locked doors. Then put up some security that will keep on-lookers out.
It would make a nice tourist attraction, though.
"Come and see the Haunted Imperial Palace! Our state-of-the-art helicopter drones will give you a good look at all angles of this intricate building! But don't get too close, or the guards will zap you with tasers. We don't want anyone else getting haunted by vengeful spirits here in beautiful, exotic Chinatown!"
... Come to think of it, where exactly is the palace? And how did Blaze get there? I assume it is located somewhere in China.

Uh... Chun-nan, maybe? It's not like most Sonic media puts much thought into where everything's actually taking place, so you can probably just fill-in-the-blank on this one, heh.
