Let me get this out: I hate politics. I am not a political person by nature. I don't believe there is a "good" side... the system is corrupt and you have to pick from a lesser of two evils. Which one is less evil, depends on who you are and what you want.

I hate having to get political. But when something I love and am passionate about gets politicized and is under attack, I am forced to fight back.

I could write a fat novel on heinous things Trump and the Trump Administration have done, including attacks on the LGBT+ community and equal rights (which shouldn't be politicized, but are). However, everyone is already familiar with those and has their own opinions. I personally chose to get involved in other ways than posting on social media, because I find that to be very ineffective

BUT

Not many people know about this particular issue.

At first I thought maybe it was worded poorly or maybe I didn't understand. I did my research and tried to get all my facts from unbiased sources. I talked to 3 people who understand these type of laws, and one of them is a biologist in the field. They told me that it is how it sounds: hunters are allowed to shoot bear cubs and wolf pups on protected land, during denning season when they're with their mothers in their dens.... but that it's very unlikely a hunter will go out of their way to kill a small baby, they would rather get a full sized animal. The biologist I talked to still seemed upset about it.

I decided to go on with the drawing, because even if it's unlikely a hunter will go into a den and shoot a small baby, the fact that they want it legal is just too beyond fucked up

I admire people who hunt for sustinence. I highly dislike sports hunting, but I do understand about population control so I don't usually argue it. This, however, is unacceptable

Speaking of trophy hunters, it's suspected that the Trump Administration is trying to dwindle the wolf and predator population so that there's more big game for sports hunters, as Donald Trump Jr. is an avid trophy hunter and loves shooting large wild animals for fun (and guess who's tax money pays for his hunting trips? Heh)

I've been passionate about wolves since I was very young. Even at age 6 - 8, I was trying to educate people on these amazing soulful doggos. Because they have been villainized and demonized through the centuries, almost hunted to extinction, and to this day people still think they're scary....And they absolutely are not. They have feelings. They mourn when a family member is killed. They are very shy and timid. And friendly to humans, once they get used to you. They also have extremely good memory, and remember things that happened to them for the rest of their lives.

I've been working all my life to fight for wolves, so I felt it was appropriate for me to make this piece and educate people on it. In case you didn't know. It's easy to just say "fuck Trump!" but I'm genuinely trying to educate, here

If you care about wolves and nature, please consider voting against Trump. I personally dislike Joe Biden, all my liberal friends hate him. I can't say that I expect him to be a good president. But I'm still voting for him, because he is the lesser of the two evils for me. I didn't vote for Trump last time, but I did give him the benefit of the doubt (believe it or not, he used to be normal/chill in the 80s, from what it seen) but yeah he failed me big time

If you still want to vote for Trump, I can't stop you. Go off I guess, you do you, fam

I just really care about wolves, animals, nature and conservation. It's my passion. It was really hard doing research for this, because I kept getting so distraught, I'd start crying. So yeah. I know this is kind of late. I had a REALLY hard time researching this. As well as hesitant to post it because people just start screeching "DAMN LIBERAL" at me, for simply talking about some thing I deelly care about.

Sorry for this serious post. I will be posting fun stuff again next. This is just a vent art, of sorts.
