Bill’s Trainers: After word got out that Bill, inventor of the Pokemon Storage System, could also turn people into Pokemon (and vice versa), people of all types started to come to his house to ask for a dramatic change in their life.

In many cases, it’s a dream come true, but it’s not always easy. It’s considered rude to ask if one of Bill’s Trainers started off as human or pokemon, and even worse to answer; this is done to prevent any sort of judgement one way or the other, but the side effect is that “life” effectively begins at the change, and the old life has to be left behind.

After years of being a pokemon trainer, his reasoning for wanting to be one of Bill’s Trainers was easy: he wanted to be as good as the pokemon he was protecting at navigating and blending into the lands where they lived. For him, sawsbuck was a perfect choice.

The change meant a lot of things: retraining and reapplying for the position that he’d had for years. Working his way up again as Shepherd. But with his new form, Shepherd’s skills had only improved, and he was faster, more agile, and more prepared than he’d ever been before.

It was exactly what he wanted and he had no regrets as long as he could continue his passion and helping the pokemon he loved.
