Has anyone figured the moment from Fantasia that inspired this?
Of course, my wolf-girl's suit also resembles the Lost Boy's furry suits, which have always appealed to me.
She also looks a little like Max from 'Where the Wild Things Are.' I had a lot of help from a great little animation test Disney did for a possible movie version that never got made - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-EpaPsJe-c
You could call her Maxine - which reminds me of Max, the tomboyish character from 'Stranger Things.'
And now I think of it, there's also probably some influence from the '70s cartoon special 'Witch's Night Out,' which I hope some furs out there remember.
Oh heck - why don't we just call it a grab-bag of inspirations at this point.
Happy Halloween.

A: The Nutcracker Suite.
Q: What segment of Disney's Fantasia inspired the background in
Beast-Boy's "Mischief Night" sequence?
The very beginning of the segment to be specific, where the slender fairies, glowing with colors cover the flowers with dew.
I Witch's Night Out, where the townspeople get turned into what they want to be on Halloween. Wasn't that Gilda Radner as the witch? Near the end townspeople are telling her what they want to be:
Woman: I want to be a queen.
Gruff-voiced guy: I wanna be a queen too!
The studio made another half hour TV special featuring the same characters, The Gift of Winter; ever hear of it? IIRC Gilda & Dan Ackroyd did voices in it. Very sweet story. I licensed it to run on The Great Space Coaster and the kid's acting school my son went to when he was very young did a stage production of it.

The Nutcracker Suite did indeed show up, and so did a bit of Sorcerer's Apprentice. The main concept came from the moment in Night on Bald Mountain where Chernabog conjures up three dancing women out of the fire - and then transforms them into animals.
Obviously I wanted to give it a more lighthearted spin here.

just watched the NOBM Fantasia segment last night in honor of the holiday; did you notice a lot of Chernabog's demons were anthro animals?
As someone who's seen the movie probably several hundred times at this point (and has two Fantasia posters in his apartment) I'm embarassed to say I missed Sorceror's Apprentice references - oh the ignomy!

Well that was fairly entertaining. I do appreciate each phase you see subtle changes with the costumes until the characters finally become their costumes.
Especially seeing as the poses changes from your usually shock to a more upbeat movement. I love feral tfs more than anything so it might just be my bias but I really think this is one of the cutest Halloween tfs I've ever seen. You know since period tend to go to the real and scary route. This is a breath of fresh air and is really soothing to me
