Autumn photography this year took me on some cool adventures. Unfortunately after thee hurricane blew through most of the leaves were gone, scattered on the ground, leaving the trees bare... This little valley was one of the few to still have colors. Near Wolf Mountain Overlook, I was originally perched up on a boulder trying to get a vantage, but eventually decided to get out on the side of a cliff. I'm not great with hei9ghts, but need those awesome vantage points. This served a few purposes, the wind was high and motion blue was a major issue, second it allowed me to get out over the scene, instead of behind it... Ten or twenty feet makes a huge difference in photography.

Usually I would use a filter here, instead I focus bracketed the shot and hoped for the best. Because the sun was behind the clouds it didn't cause too much issue.
