Philomela Baring Herself - By Maneframe
Maneframe rendered this beautiful piece of Philomela in glorious details. ❤️Consider this a bit of a companion to this other one

Where Philekdikisi is magical and full of energies, Philomela is rather cranky and winds down really fast.
Anyway. I'm really glad i got these two here done.

the main sequence gear that holds her programming?

Her brain is:
• that
plus
• those cylinders made of shaped disks
and also
• some components that are not visible because either they were removed to show these or are behind these components.
The mainspring and the memory disks are right behind the big gear-like thing for example, because they are circular-shaped and not very thick as far as components go. Other stuff is just missing.
To make a parallel: a human brain has the cerebrum, cerebellum, and brainstem.
• the cerebrum is what stores and analyzes things happening now, what gives you the ability to think and remember stuff, that's essentially the "hidden components".
• the cerebellum is the basic instinctive stuff that keeps you alive and "functioning" (equilibrium, heartbeat, breathing, etc.) as well as the ability to move around and how. That's what that big gear-like thing does. It does not decide the movements but it tells the piles of disks where to go to do the movements that it gets told to do. It always runs in circles doing a sequence, but its "teeth" can be removed, changed and swapped around The spike at its top reads the teeth and that's what moves the readers on the various pillars of disks visible behind.
• the brainstem is the most immediate reflexes and the transmission of orders from the cerebellum towards the limbs, that's the shaped disks they get read by tiny levers and their shape dictates how to execute movements.
Keep in mind that Philomela's internals whiz around at 100 rotations per second 😅 sooo yeah. She is inactive right now.
