Species: Capernaum
Habitat: Hell
Order: Scavenger/Omnivor
What is it?: A capernaum is a type of legless dragon crossbred with a worm. It was large, hard as marble, back scales that run down its spine all the way to it's stumpy tail. I has a large skull plate firmly attached to it's bone by intricate webbing of skin. It has ten eyes on each side, twenty in all, to enhance its already perfect vision.
What's it do?: Capernaums roam freely around, slowly. They are quite bulky, but that is because of their large muscles. Capernaums have a unique digestive track that allows them to turn some percent of thier intake in poisonous and boiling hot, thick lava-like liquid. This 'lava' can be shot out with tremendous force, or it can be gushed out in a steaming river. The Capernaum's jaw superextends to allow enough room for the thick substance to exit. Its long, limp tongue also moves to the side and out of the mouth, since it cannot retract its self.
How's it move?: Capernaum move much like snakes, bulky head erect while fat body pushed from side to side. Capernaums are cunning and, when pressured, can rampage at 60 mph, full throttle.
What's it eat?: They are usually scavengers, but they tend to massacre herds if they are in desperate need of food. One unusual food source is volcanic rocks. Capernaums can burrow down into the earth's crust to disgest this food or take shelter, but the usualy try to find volcanoes for an easier route. Yes, they can withstand overwhelming heat.
