Its forearms are packed with dense, powerful muscles. It can crush a garbage truck as if it were a soda can.

Facts
-lives in dry grasslands and heaths in the Kanto region, usually live in groups of 2-5 adults called clans
-carnivorous, primarily eats Rattata, Raticate, Sandshrew, Sandslash and Diglett but has been observed eating Cubone and Marowak as well
-uses its long arms to dig and search for food, as well as bury food for later and create burrows to sleep in
-one of the oldest Pokémon species that's still thriving today, prehistoric Gnashovore are believed to have been Rock/Normal type with a very rough hide and jagged spines, very similar to their modern descendants otherwise, oldest fossil dated around 230 million years old
-uses the four spikes on its back to attract potential mates, large spikes are indicative of a strong, healthy individual and males will show them off to try and impress females
-females lay 1-3 eggs and will eat malformed or weak hatchlings
-skull is short and teeth are long, giving it a buck toothed appearance
-highly territorial, intimidates intruders by swinging its tail and baring its claws, if they don't flee, it will chase them down with regard for little else
-scales on its belly and arms are slightly softer than the rest of its body
