Stunning work as usual... BUT unfortunately seeing this Kangaroo has triggered some repressed memories of this movie and now I feel the need to have a short rant.
In short, terribly mediocre movie with its trailers focusing on the kangaroo talking which only happens once during a hallucination scene, along with only 5 minutes total of the kangaroo appearing throughout the entire movie.
I unfortunately like many back then was tricked into watching this as a kid, due to its deliberate false advertisements, its name, and its trailer.
Once again, brilliant work... Just unfortunate that it brought back some negative memories.

I am aware that was an animated sequel of the movie called "Kangaroo Jack: G'Day U.S.A.!" that was released one year after 2003 "Kangaroo Jack."
An intentionally misleading movie named after a character that only appears for a total of 5 minutes and only talks in a hallucination sequence.
I was already tricked by the first instalment, and I was not in the mood to be giving it a second chance, no matter how "welcoming" this animated sequel appears to be.
There are some grudges you can't just let go of... even after 17 years. Especially when you lived on a farm, saw the trailer, then constantly pestered your parents to drive you to town to buy the videotape, on the condition that you wouldn't be able to buy another movie for one month... Only to find out that it was a complete waste.
I don't normally watch WatchMojo but the first instalment even made it into the list Top 10 Times Movie Trailers Lied to You

So Kangaroo Jack can say "g'day" and go to the USA and I'll say he is "welcome" too, but I'll stay planted right here in Australia where I belong, thank you very much.

Just to clarify, I'm referring to the original 2003 live action instalment. https://youtu.be/gCBqUtoyn54?t=137
Although I'm aware of it, I have not seen the sequel and don't plan on it, as I am still very bitter with how the first one was deliberately falsely advertised.

Haha, now I'm confused... there was a sequel? Wow. *watches your link* Yeah, the original is the one I was thinking of. Wow, would have fooled me too! Reminds me of when I rented Ace Ventura Pet Detective expecting a dolphin to practically BE a character... and there was only like 3 seconds of stock footage at the very end.
The animated one was better, and this proved it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY4vkZmD8OY
