No two ways about it, this one took AGES to finish. Between switching software, losing a bunch of work, and IRL distractions (not to mention lapses in energy/motivation), I had to wrestle a bit with this one. But I'm glad I did, because honestly, it's great to have Rohan again.
this page actually had a couple of major rewrites just before the actual art stuff got underway. Originally, I'd intended this page to be completely silent; and while I do think there's something to be said for a more subtle approach, I feel not enough has been said about Rohan's inner thoughts and feelings thus far. I really want to convey that Rohan is still very much struggling with understanding his new life and his new self, and that soon he will have no choice but to finally sit down and take stock of who he is now, and what that means.
There has been a lot of action and a lot of exposition so far, but believe me, the gravity of his decision and his changes have NOT been lost on our hero, folks. <3

istrala blood-lust has to be sated when invoked 'but' he can chose whose blood...the blood of istrala works just as well as that of humans or animals and these istrala have certainly earned a good thrashing....though the humans are going to be a might confused about the demon putting the smack down on his own...
Sometimes when ones resolve is tested Man or Beast your actions decide who you are. And sometimes when we have morals as the drive its not about what you are, Its about who you are. Its about doing what is right even if it means going against the norm. That is why dark energy or any energy magical or physical does not necessarily mean evil as it is merely a tool, a hammer if you so will, as it comes to the user to decide its purpose.
