Remember when I said I was hyperfixated on Rise of the TMNT? Well, during that time of being in the community, I saw a massive influx of various AUs, mostly pertaining to if one of more of the boys was raised by another father figure like Draxum. But a concept I never seen explored was the idea of the boys having biological parents, specifically moms. I mean, they came from somewhere, right?

So Shu and I came up with the Mom AU (name still pending), where the boys biological mothers and fathers exist, and actively looking for their sons.

Here are Raph and Mikey's moms, Clivia (left, snapping turtle) and Azalea (right, box turtle). These are actually a touched up design where I decided to use the boys' color palette to match to stay consistent. I have more of their lore and backstory up on my tumblr if anyone's interested.

Also, they all have husbands, all of whom are owned by my bestie, Shu.
