Hey! If you saw my journal here, this is an example of a potential bio!: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9664682/
Otherwise, even if I decide against that kind of comm, I was glad to write out a bio for my lynx boi! It felt nice to hash out some facts, even if I'll probably end up forgetting some bits x3
I hope you enjoy it! ^w^ I may do one for my other characters if I feel like it!

Background
Wyatt was born 2rd in a family of 4 children in a middle-class family, residing in an older, coastal city. The family had a unique genetic mutation, which manifested every other generation in one child, that being a 3rd eye in the forehead that granted certain abilities. Wyatt was the one in the family to receive the 3rd eye mutation, and controlling it was a herculean task for a child. Tantrums would send objects flying off shelves, and cause pounding migraines for his parents, who were desperate for a safe way to raise their child. Thanks to the care of his grandmother, who also had the mark, Wyatt was eventually able to get his abilities under control, though the strain of raising him caused a rift to form between him and his parents, especially his father. In addition, the large family size often left his parents little time for his needs, so he learned to make do on his own, via books and tech. He moved out after completing high school and is working on pursuing a higher education in another city. Now, Wyatt has chosen to keep it exposed when around those he trusts, though he still instinctively hides it when among strangers.
Personality Overview
Wyatt seems quite normal at first glance. He’s a bit withdrawn, seems to be rather private, though he rarely shies away from telling people what he thinks when he needs to. Still, he’s kind and open with people, unless they’ve proven to him that he can’t trust them. It’s immediately obvious that he’s lazy, or “Efficiency-minded” if you were to ask him. He’s often found lying somewhere, nose buried in a book or in his laptop. He frequently uses his telekinesis to grab objects from around the room without the need to get up.
However, after getting to know him, his peculiarities start to show. He often stares at nothing in particular, spacing out for long periods of time. Certain, seemingly random topics, such as a specific historical battle, a specific issue of a comic book, or a completely normal day of work, will catch his attention, and he’ll put down whatever he was doing and spend minutes at a time gushing about those topics. If this seems to unsettle others, he’ll sheepishly apologize and slink back to his corner. He often seems to know odd specifics to situations, though he can’t quite tell how he knows what he does.
He’s slow to trust, and slow to lose trust, and one can often blatantly betray his trust several times before he accepts that they’re a bad influence. However, once that trust is lost, chances are the person who lied to him will never get it back. He’s actually quite self-conscious about his mutation, and often uses his hood to hide his 3rd eye in public, even if it’s uncomfortable for him. If he puts up his hair to it’s natural position to fully show his 3rd eye, it’s generally a sign of trust. A fast way to anger him is to poke at his 3rd eye, or make fun of it, unless you have a good rapport beforehand.
Abilities
Wyatt’s most noteworthy abilities are his innate psionic abilities, derived from his 3rd-eye mutation. These abilities manifest themselves as telepathy, hypnosis/mental domination, telekinesis, and the creation of simple, temporary mental constructs. These abilities, while varied, are dependent on Wyatt’s mental discipline, and over-exertion can quickly render him drained, and he loses control of them when inebriated, frightened, or otherwise in a state where focus is difficult.
Telepathy: Wyatt can communicate with 1 person mentally, with a range of about 200 feet. The person can reply to his messages. If frightened, ecstatic, or otherwise emotional, he occasionally broadcasts his feelings to everyone around them, making them aware of what he’s feeling.
Mind-Reading: Wyatt can passive read the surface thoughts of most people, though those with presence of mind can block him out. He can also probe deeper into the mind to learn more about the person, but Wyatt rarely uses either of these abilities, both due to the strain they present and the violation of privacy, which Wyatt is uncomfortable with.
Hypnosis: Wyatt can use his telepathy to hypnotize susceptible individuals, rendering them mentally dull and suggestable. This does not require eye contact and is done psionically. Wyatt frequently makes use of this abilities to get others to do simple, harmless tasks for him, as well as to help those he is close with via hypnotherapy
Telekinesis: The most taxing ability of Wyatt’s is the ability to manipulate objects with his thoughts. Small, light objects are relatively simple, but the strain rapidly increases with the size and weight of the object, with his upper safe limit being a standard person for about a minute. Under stress, Wyatt’s telekinesis reaches maximum strength with lifting a car, though Wyatt will most likely use up all his energy and be unable to perform any other tasks until he rests. This power can also manifest itself as orange, ghostly hands, should Wyatt choose.
Aside from his psionic abilities, Wyatt has a deep interest in the occult, and has a decent grasp on a handful of spells and rituals. He’s also decently tech-savvy.
Connections:
Gahwor: Gahwor and Wyatt are good friends, having met when Wyatt, looking to move a couch into his apartment, convinced Gahwor, who was on a walk at the time, to help him out. The fact that Gahwor required no hypnotic coercement to drop his schedule and help out a stranger left an impression on Wyatt, and the two began to hang out semi-regularly. Though Wyatt’s somewhat nerdish tendencies don’t tend to mix with Gahwor’s rugged, blue-collar hobbies, the two try to find common ground when they can. They both agree that hiking is a shared interest, though Wyatt’s often too tired to go as far as Gahwor would like.
Tag: Tag and Wyatt share an apartment complex, and they met when Tag utilized a pair of compressor-powered suction cups to scale the building. When Wyatt found Tag on his window, the protogen gave Wyatt a little wave and an innocent grin before continuing back up. After Tag completed his climb back down, Wyatt introduced himself, and they soon began to chat now and then. When together, Wyatt often has to play the straight man to Tag’s antics, and reign him in when necessary.
Zaeksel: Wyatt and Zaeksel met via a mutual friend, that being Gahwor. Ever since they were introduced, they’ve been oddly fascinated by each other on an academic level, with Wyatt being a proven psychic and Zaeksel being a proven vampire, and both of them taking an interest in the paranormal. However, that’s where the similarities end. Zaeksel is an entertainer at The Fang, a relatively popular nightclub, and tends to be flamboyant, seductive, and hides his true thoughts behind personas and guises, while Wyatt is rather quiet, very to-the-point, and efficiency-minded. These two personality differences can cause them to clash, though the friendship rarely suffers as a whole for it.
