So I was looking up different types of swords for ideas. I came across Curtana, a ceremonial Royal blade. What about taking that and doing something like Curtepes mixing the name of the ceremonial sword with that of Vlad (the inspiration for Dracula) his last name, Tepes?

Can say it like "Kurt-e-pees" or "Kurt-a-pees" or go with Epes or even Tepes for short?

Hmm.. doesn't feel like him, but I can play with concepts and see if anything sticks! He's just being a stubborn ass xD

What's his personality like?

Theatric, dramatic, flamboyant, seductive, charming and rather clever. Like any Dreameater, he eats nightmares and bad energy, which means having him around can be beneficial. Despite being an absolute showboat, he's genuine and honest. While Grimm thought he was the last Dreameater alive, this individual managed to survive as well. He survived by finding a fallen kingdom taken down by a curse, and going into hibernation, slowly feeding from the energy there. Once the curse and the darkness around that kingdom was gone, consumed by him, he woke from his hibernation and set out to find a new source. Fortunately, the group that most of the hunters came from is no longer active, so the world is quite a bit safer for Dreameaters despite many still fearing them. Dreameaters are terribly misunderstood.

I'm looking over Theatre terms now. What about something simple like Cue? It's a name that could match his personality if he is one that is a showboat and dramatic.

I don't want a word name for him, the sorta feel I am going for is more... classic Victorian vampire, but with a bit of a fantasy feel.

The name concepts that SORTA work are Lucian, Lucias, or Lazarus.... but neither of the three really fit him, but the *feel* of them sorta works.

Ravalund? Salgur? Levalidus? Charlon?

I'm more so just kinda making up names more as I'm feeling at this point and I hope that's fine

Yee it's fine! I'm just really struggling with a name for this guy. I have vague ideas, but nothing is fitting. xD

Hehe. If I have any other ideas I'll pitch them here. But for now, why not a "nick name" as a place holder till you find the right one?
